Lady Loki Horned Headdress by MorganCrone Lady Loki Horned Headdress by MorganCrone
This horned diadem was created for a customer who cosplayed as Lady Loki at the April 12th 2012 Hollywood premier of the Avengers movie. I have never heard of Lady Loki prior to this commission so I didn’t have much to go on and so the entire outfit was more so based on the Norse legends of Loki. The diadem was designed exclusively for the customer and I will never create another one of its kind. I do take commissions but I will never duplicate this piece, the customer has exclusive rights to the design. It marked a huge turning point in her life and is an extremely personal piece, please respect that.

This is the lovely cosplayer who commissioned this piece, go check out her page!

This diadem was hand sculpted out of epoxy clay, sanded, polished, primed, and painted. Countless hours of work went into this piece.

I went to great length to make sure this piece did NOT look like any pre-existing version of Lady Loki to ensure it was an original and one of a kind piece. This piece is an entirely original design which I hold exclusive rights to. DO NOT COPY, DUPLICATE, OR REPRODUCE THIS DESIGN IN ANY WAY IN ANY MEDIUM. THIS IS NOT</i> STOCK!

You can see it being worn in the "Marvel's The Avengers Red Carpet World Premiere" video on youtube at about 1-hour-15-minutes

More photos available on my FaceBook page…

For commission information and pricing please refer to my DA Journal entry here:… or contact me via email:

It has come to my attention that there is an ebay seller who is making exact copies of this piece. Please be aware that this is a ONE OF A KIND piece and any replicas or you may see in NO WAY have the permission to use this design. If you find this headdress being sold elsewhere please report it. This piece was NOT based on ANY comic Loki design so any piece that is an exact or close copy of this design IS NOT taken from any other source.
Thank you.

**UPDATE #2**

After far too many incidences of copies of this design or use of the photos of this piece being used as stock despite my extensive statements of the design being my exclusive intellectual property I have had to alter and slightly obscure parts of these photos in an attempt to make it a little more dificult for them to be used as stock. I appologise for the excessive and ugly branding, but people simply will not respect the rules.

Magic-Sculpt. It's a little sticky at first but that could be because I live where it's humid all the time, other than that I LOVE it.

Try All-Fix. It's a lot better then Magic Sculpt and less sticky. It's also easier to mix the 2 parts. And any time the epoxies are sticky to work with just let them sit for about 5 minutes after mixing and they will be a lot smoother, also keep your hands wet, it smooths out with water. Magic Sculpt Sculpt us what this headdress is made of but I have since moved on to All-Fix. Also, a non-water smoothing one that is really great is the Amazing Sculpt but I do suggest getting the smoothing solution from the company.
