Sculpy Slug by MorganCrone Sculpy Slug by MorganCrone
This little guy's a slug for our D&D campaign, he's to be a mount for my character.

It's about 3 inches long and made entirely out of Super Sculpy painted with acrylic paint. I used a wash of a whitish platinum and a black sparkly shimmery paint to get the silvery slug slime coating and 2 coats of clear high gloss sealant.

He was supposed to be a riding slug so I was going to make a saddle and harness but I like how it turned out too much to go cutesy. I may just make another cartoony looking one.

Yes I'm sure, it doesn't take hours to make a real slug. Well, unless the girl sluggy and the boy sluggy take it realllly slow :P

Cute.
The party is trying to not get found out by a demon trying to destroy the world before we fight him and I'm just waiting until the next time we have to sneak and cover our tracks...hehe...slime trail:D It's bad enough that the rest of he party is 2 halflings, a gnome and a human with either the ability to become invisible or change their appearance, I'm a big green half-orc barbarian with pink hair and the only thing I can do to change my appearance is my magic armor that can look like full plate when I say the command word, which is "Cosplay!" It' funny.

Nope, just Super Sculpy. I changed the title after uploading the first photo because it was just called "Slug" and it's hard to tell what it's made of in the photo.

This is so cool!! It looks so incredibly real. You got that washed out slimey grey colour PERFECT!!
And the glossy really does give it that 'wet' look all little fat slugs have. Really nice.

It's really silly how many times I've seen this on the table drying and had it catch me off guard. There are few things I make that I actually think I did well with but I like this little guy.

I did too, and I'm still quite odd.
We were over run with them though, they'd get in the car food and on the cats.
We had the 6-8 inch leopard slugs so they were huge which is why I can remember all the details, they have neat little eyes.

I remember these huge orange slugs...not sure what kind...then a bunch of little ones in my mother's garden. I loved finding them and watching them and collecting them...I just loved that I could flip over a leaf in my mother's garden and find something secretly living there. A toad, however, was the ultimate find.

Could they have been Banana Slugs?
We had all sorts of critters in our gardens and everywhere else.
I loved playing with bugs, toads, tree frogs, lizards, turtles.
I was such a tomboy...ya...um...that's right...was:paranoid:

Wrong region of the US I think. I grew up in the northeast and I think banana slugs are more west coast, right? But anyway, lol, it sounds like you were a lot like me growing up then. :) I've grown more feminine at this point but I still swear in such a manner as would make a pirate blush...he he he.
